Minister Steven Turner known in the industry as the ” Music-Man”, has been playing music since age 4. He is a Pioneer of ” On-Call” Gospel which he started under God’s inspiration in 1994. As one pastor said to him; ‘ You’re not like MOST musicians, you are a business man that ministers. ” Minister Steve has played and travelled with the recording group: ” The Bells of Joy”, Juan Santiago & The Praise Community Choir and his own group: The Praise Christian Jazz band. Min. Steve has ministered on : The Keeping It Real, Lift Every Voice & The Blessed & Talented TV Shows , as well as ” Good Morning America” and Channel13/WJZ TV.

He has sung for the ; Dawson Family Memorial on behalf of the Mayor’s Office of Religious Affairs, 1st. Music Director & Accompanist for: The Sounds of Downtown” / Downtown Partnerships of Baltimore. 1st. Organist playing for the Commencement Graduation for the Baltimore City Police Department. He was the Music Organizer & Talent Recruiter for the F.B.I.’s Combined Charities Campaign putting on Talent Shows 1981-1987.His list of Awards & Citations are too many to list but here are a few: The Rosa Pryor Award, City Council of Baltimore Citation, Governor’s Citiation, 2nd Congressional District Citation,& Presidential Citation from the City of Baltimore. He is a Renaissance man, songwriter, arranger, soloist, bandleader and one of the ‘ BEST’ Gospel Organists (Traditional) in Baltimore.
