Pastor's Bio
Pastor Steven ” Music Man” Turner – Native of Baltimore, son of iconic Min. of Music A.M. Turner, founder of the Radio Chorus. Started playing classical music at age 4. Studied for 11 years under Mr. Clarence Bingham. Educated in Baltimore City public school system. At age 15 he took private lessons in organ , piano & voice from Mr. Leurray Norris for 5 years. He took part in a student led TV show called: ” Street Scenes on Fox 45 interviewing then, Mayor William Donald Schaeffer, Baltimore City Police Commissioner Bishop Robinson and the late emeritus Bishop Winfield A. Showell, his Pastor at the First Apostolic Faith Chuch. He has spent time in Washington, D.C. organizing the 1st. Talent shows at the F.B.I. raising money for the Combined Charities. He has brought Gospel music as a promoter to many area malls, such as: Reisterstown Plaza, Security Mall and Mondawminn.
He has served as Master of Ceremonies for them all and special community concerts to feed the poor, homeless and widows such as: ” Praise Power 2009, Praise Power 2010. He served as the Account Executive for the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development working with corporations to hire the hard to serve. He has spent 30 years in sales & law enforcement, serving as a Baltimore City Police Officer for 5 years.
He has been an artist advocate for many years before becoming a community activist. He has served as the V.P. of the Musicians Bank, V.P. of Membership Roots of Scouting, Inc., V.P. of Membership.
The Toastmasters, Lieutenant for the Baltimore Trauma Response Team, Graduated from Baltimore City Police’s Trauma Chaplain Academy, graduated from John Hopkins School of Spirituality’s ” Caring For the City” program, FBI Fingerprint Academy, BCPD Police Academy. Graduated from the University of Family Bible College & Seminary under Bishop Eddie A. Montgomery, PHD. with a Bachelors in Ministry and an Honorary Doctorate.
Husband of Leora Turner, married for 16 years now, father of 3, grandfather of 6.
First Lady's Bio
Evangelist Leora Turner, was born in Sunflower, Mississippi and moved to New York at a young age with her father, a military man.
She lived in Brooklyn and attended Bishop Bonner’s Apostolic church where she was a member. She took private dance lessons and enjoyed singing.
She served as a dental assistant for 31 years and was beloved by her patients. She serves as V.P. of Hospitality and even assists her Husband on musical engagements on the drums while he plays the organ. She is also a member of the band playing tambourine while singing. She is a proficient songwriter having written : ” Lord! I Need a Breakthrough!”.
She loves cooking and shopping.

Minister Steven Turner known in the industry as the ” Music-Man”, has been playing music since age 4. He is a Pioneer of ” On-Call” Gospel which he started under God’s inspiration in 1994. As one pastor said to him; ‘ You’re not like MOST musicians, you are a business man that ministers. ” Minister Steve has played and travelled with the recording group: ” The Bells of Joy”, Juan Santiago & The Praise Community Choir and his own group: The Praise Christian Jazz band. Min. Steve has ministered on : The Keeping It Real, Lift Every Voice & The Blessed & Talented TV Shows , as well as ” Good Morning America” and Channel13/WJZ TV.
He has sung for the ; Dawson Family Memorial on behalf of the Mayor’s Office of Religious Affairs, 1st. Music Director & Accompanist for: The Sounds of Downtown” / Downtown Partnerships of Baltimore. 1st. Organist playing for the Commencement Graduation for the Baltimore City Police Department. He was the Music Organizer & Talent Recruiter for the F.B.I.’s Combined Charities Campaign putting on Talent Shows 1981-1987.His list of Awards & Citations are too many to list but here are a few: The Rosa Pryor Award, City Council of Baltimore Citation, Governor’s Citiation, 2nd Congressional District Citation,& Presidential Citation from the City of Baltimore. He is a Renaissance man, songwriter, arranger, soloist, bandleader and one of the ‘ BEST’ Gospel Organists (Traditional) in Baltimore.
